Permanent Eyebrows Makeup in Progress

microblading

Microblading/feathering is a form of cosmetic tattooing where a manual, handheld tool is used to create hair-like strokes that resemble natural brow hairs. Microblading looks completely natural because it mimics the real brow hairs and can be individually customised to suit colour, style and shape. Kiss goodbye to using makeup to correct sparse or over-plucked brows and restore the appearance of realistic looking, natural brows.

No matter the growth of your brow hair or your current brow shape, Lulu Beauty Bar can provide you with the perfect brows you have always wanted.

Depending on your lifestyle, your brows should last around 2 years after the procedure, however sun exposure and your skin’s resistance to the pigment will affect this.

Microblading info:

- It looks like real hair.

- It is a semi-permanent tattoo which will require top ups over the years.

- The pigment colours range from dark blonde to dark brown. (Darker colours last longer)

- After the treatment, your brows will look slightly darker than the make-up you normally use but it is NOT scary dark.

- During the healing stage, the colour fades gradually into a softer shade.

- The sensation varies from complete numbness to light scratching feeling.

- There is very slight redness for around 24 hours.

- You cannot get them wet for 48 hours after.

- Aftercare is very simple and provided. Makeup wipes are great to use instead of cleansers during the healing period.

- Microblading is only suitable for certain skin types (this will be discussed during your consultation).

- Your brows are not shaved off before the treatment.

ombré powder brows

Ombré powder brows/powder brows/ombré shading is the newest trend in eyebrow semi-permanent makeup. It gives a soft shaded, brow pencil look. Powder brows are created using a tattoo machine to dot (pixelate) ink throughout the brows with saturation gradually being increased towards the tail. Once healed, it creates more of a full, yet soft, overall colour that gives great definition and depth to the brows. Whether you're looking for a light soft shading or show-stopping bold brows, it can be customized according to your personal preference.

Ombré is generally suitable for all individuals especially those who have little to no hair, oily skin, or those who prefer a more defined brow shape. Ombré is less invasive than microblading, virtually painless and has longer lasting results that you love.

Ombré Brows info:

- The eyebrows look more defined and dramatic than with the microblading method. The results resemble the look of wearing eyebrow powder.

- It is a semi-permanent tattoo which will require top ups over the years.

- The pigment colours range from dark blonde to dark brown. (Darker colours last longer)

- After the treatment, your brows will look quite a bit darker than microblading but it is NOT scary dark.

- During the healing stage, the colour will turn darker whilst a scab forms which will then fade gradually into a softer shade.

- The sensation varies from complete numbness to light scratching feeling.

- There is very slight redness for around 24 hours.

- You cannot get them wet for 48 hours after.

- Aftercare is very simple and provided. Makeup wipes are great to use instead of cleansers during the healing period.

- Ombré brows is suitable for most skin types (this will be discussed during your consultation).

- Your brows are not shaved off before the treatment.

combo brows

Combo brows/combination brows/hybrid brows is the mix of microbladed hair strokes with a powder brow fill to create an incredibly natural looking brow. It's a bit more defined than just straight microbladed brows but is less solid and dramatic than the ombré powder fill. Natural hair strokes are microbladed into the head of the brow with shading added in the tail of the brows.

Combination brows are perfect for clients wanting to achieve a more powdered look to their natural brows without them being too bold. This procedure combines both microblading and ombré shading techniques using a cosmetic tattoo machine.

Combo brow info:

- The eyebrows look more defined than with the microblading method but less dramatic than ombré brows.

- It is a semi-permanent tattoo which will require top ups over the years.

- The pigment colours range from dark blonde to dark brown. (Darker colours last longer)

- After the treatment, your brows will look darker than straight microblading

- During the healing stage, the colour will turn darker whilst a scab forms which will then fade gradually into a softer shade.

- The sensation varies from complete numbness to light scratching feeling.

- There is very slight redness for around 24 hours.

- You cannot get them wet for 48 hours after.

- Aftercare is very simple and provided. Makeup wipes are great to use instead of cleansers during the healing period.

- Combo brows is suitable for some skin types (this will be discussed during your consultation).

- Your brows are not shaved off before the treatment.
